About the Area
Taksim is the busiest square on the European side of Istanbul. İstiklal Avenue, the Galata Tower, Cihangir and Karaköy are within walking distance, and it is one of the areas with the most hotels in the city. The Galataport cruise terminal is nearby too.
Some streets in Taksim and Beyoğlu are narrow or pedestrian only, so your driver drops you at your hotel door or the closest point a car can reach.
How the Transfer Works
From the airport the route takes the Northern Marmara Motorway, then Hasdal and Kağıthane down to Taksim. The whole drive is on the European side with no bridge crossing.
